Position Overview

The Lot Attendant at Stepp's Towing and Heavy Transport is responsible for managing vehicle releases, maintaining accurate vehicle inventory, and supporting general office operations. This role requires excellent customer service and cash-handling skills, as well as the ability to work independently and follow management instructions. The Lot Attendant serves as a primary point of contact for customers, ensuring that all interactions are handled professionally and efficiently.


Essential Functions:

  • Warmly greet customers at the cashier window, maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Receives cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers; records the amount received.
  • Process impoundment paperwork and maintain compliance with all requirements for the laws of towing and impoundment.
  • Record customer information within our customer service database.
  • Administrative and clerical duties.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting, crawling, pulling, bending, reaching, climbing, and stamina required
  • Indoor and outdoor work as needed

Required Skills:

  • Experience in data entry and customer service.
  • Hands-on experience working in stressful and/or emergencies.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High School diploma

Pay:

  • $16

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
    • Day off: Saturday and Sunday
