BRIEF


We are looking for an experienced Low Current Engineer with a wealth of construction knowledge to join our capable team of professionals. On a daily basis, the ideal candidate will carry out various engineering tasks such as performing Access Control, CCTV, Fire Alarm, BMS, and Communications calculations, creating project plans, and ensuring that our systems meet global and local safety standards.


JOB DESCRIPTION


As a Low Current Engineer , you will perform the following duties:


  • Design and review ICT, ELV, and FLS systems including structured cabling, network devices, Wi-Fi, CCTV, Access Control, PAVA, and fire alarm/suppression systems.
  • Review IFC and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards (NEC, NFPA, SBC).
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to manage approvals, installations, and testing.
  • Supervise site installation, commissioning, and functional verification of systems.
  • Prepare technical documentation and handover packages including as-built drawings, manuals, port mappings, and inspection reports.
  • Perform troubleshooting, system diagnostics, and calculations (voltage drop, battery load, capacity).
  • Support procurement, vendor coordination, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.


QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Communication, or ICT Engineering.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of structured cabling, network systems, fire alarm & suppression, CCTV, ACS, PAVA, and NFPA/SBC/NEC standards.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC) and other relevant local and international codes & standards.
  • Good command of English language (spoken & written).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and Revit MEP .
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork abilities.
