Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Installer to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of low voltage systems across commercial and residential projects. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, security solutions, and telecommunication infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in system design, cabling, and field service operations, ensuring the seamless integration of security, surveillance, f, and communication systems. Duties

  • Install and configure low voltage systems including CCTV, sensors, IDS, alarm systems, fire alarms, and security systems.
  • Run cabling and wiring according to schematics and NEC standards while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Assist in designing system layouts and configurations tailored to client specifications.
  • Perform maintenance and upgrades on existing low voltage infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and clients to ensure timely project completion.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for installation tasks.
  • Document installation processes and system configurations accurately for future reference.
  • Provide field service support including remote access software setup and system calibration.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of computer networking, computer hardware, and telecommunication systems.
  • Experience with CCTV surveillance, sensors, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), alarm systems, fire alarms, and security solutions.
  • Proficiency with schematics reading, system design principles, and remote access software tools.
  • Familiarity with locksmithing concepts related to security hardware.
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively.
  • Previous service technician experience in low voltage or electrical fields is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of construction practices related to cabling installation in various environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues efficiently. Pay: $25.06 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
