LPN - 7pm to 7am every other weekend

Are you a compassionate LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) looking to work in smaller residential setting. Care is provided in our beautiful eight bed residential hospice house located in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Our shifts are staffed with an LPN and CNA who will provide care for up to 8 hospice house residents.

Summary

Provide essential nursing care to patients in a supportive and empathetic environment.

Work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) from 7pm to 7am . This position also participates in the holiday rotation. The ability to work additional hours in the house or field to assist with coverage when full-time nursing team members are off is desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to hospice patients, ensuring comfort and dignity in their final stages of life.
• Monitors vital signs, documenting changes in EHR systems.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educates patients and families on care procedures and support resources available.
• Uphold HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid State of Wisconsin LPN license
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Familiarity with EHR systems
• Experience in medication administration
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality

Job Types: Part-time, Per diem

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
