Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Weekend Doubles (Baylor Program)
Pay Rate: $32.50/hour
Setting: Long-Term Care / Nursing Home

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team under a Weekend Baylor Program. This role involves working double shifts on weekends while receiving full-time pay and benefits. The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Schedule:

• Weekend doubles (e.g., two 16-hour shifts: Saturday and Sunday)
• Baylor program eligibility (paid for full-time hours for weekend commitment)

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor residents’ vital signs and overall health status
• Provide direct nursing care, including wound care and assistance with daily living activities
• Document care accurately and timely in medical records
• Communicate effectively with physicians, RNs, CNAs, residents, and families
• Respond promptly to changes in residents’ conditions or emergencies
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and facility policies

Qualifications:

• Current and active LPN license (state-specific)
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work long shifts and handle physically demanding tasks
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
