LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) 10PM-6AM

Job Summary:

ROTATION SCHEDULE

Duties:

- Provide direct patient care in accordance with the patient's treatment plan, under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
- Administer medications and perform routine treatments, such as catheterization and wound care.
- Monitor vital signs, track patient progress, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Support patients with dementia and other cognitive impairments, using techniques to promote engagement and independence.

- Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients with critical care needs.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the principles of person-centered care, including dignity, autonomy, and respect.

Skills:

- Current LPN licensure in the state of La.
- Experience working in senior care/ dementia care
- Ability to provide care to patients with developmental disabilities.
- Strong clinical skills, with the ability to administer medications and perform routine treatments.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMRs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- A commitment to the principles of person-centered care and a willingness to provide care with dignity, autonomy, and respect.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
