We are seeking a dynamic and experienced LPN Nurse Manager to lead and oversee nursing operations within a diverse healthcare setting. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise nursing staff, including Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical protocols.
- Coordinate daily nursing operations, including patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and medical documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, infection control standards, and safety protocols.
- Facilitate discharge planning and case management,.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure documentation aligns with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding standards for billing and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans for patients with complex needs.
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license in New York.
- Demonstrated supervisory or nurse management experience leading multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
- Strong working knowledge of EMR/EHR systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in medication administration, specimen collection/processing, sterile technique and infection control protocols.
- Strong leadership qualities with supervisory experience in managing staff performance and fostering team collaboration.
