LSAT Tutor (Remote) — Next Level Education

Next Level Education, a premier academic tutoring and college consulting company, is launching our LSAT department and seeking an accomplished LSAT tutor to provide online instruction. We are looking for a tutor who is highly knowledgeable, student-centered, and committed to helping aspiring law students reach their highest potential.

Position Summary

The LSAT Tutor will deliver results-focused instruction, build personalized study plans, and mentor students through the full LSAT preparation process. This role is ideal for candidates who excel at breaking down complex reasoning skills, coaching students through disciplined practice, and helping them achieve competitive scores.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging one-on-one and small-group LSAT instruction to students online.
• Design individualized study plans based on diagnostics, learning style, and student timelines.
• Teach all sections of the LSAT (Logical Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, and Writing) with emphasis on strategy, logic, and clarity.
• Provide curated practice materials, timed drills, and official prep resources that reinforce structured skill development.
• Track progress through diagnostics, score analysis, and ongoing targeted feedback.
• Coach students on pacing, endurance, test-day strategy, and effective study habits.
• Maintain professional communication with students (and families when appropriate) regarding progress and goals.
• Remain current on LSAT exam trends, format changes, and scoring methodologies.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (completed or in progress) from an accredited law school.
• Demonstrated LSAT mastery with a competitive score (top percentiles strongly preferred).
• Prior LSAT tutoring or teaching experience preferred.
• Strong command of logic, argument structure, and reading comprehension instruction.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts and motivate students.
• Professionalism, punctuality, and a genuine commitment to supporting student growth.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
