LTC Pharmacy Billing Manager

Millennia RX is a long term care pharmacy providing pharmacy services for residents in long term care facilities in Alabama and Mississippi. We are currently hiring a Billing Manager. The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Data entry of new patient information and perform daily maintenance of patient records
  • Prescription claim processing and adjudication
  • Knowledge of Medicare, AL and MS Medicaid, and third-party billing requirements
  • Work directly with nursing facilities, customers, and responsible parties to ensure the correct preparation and submission of monthly statements
  • Prepare credits, refunds, or adjustments
  • Organize documents for insurance audits
  • AR (Sage)
  • Follow state and federal laws related to the practice of pharmacy

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years LTC pharmacy billing experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Medicare Part D, Medicaid, Medicare A billing
  • Familiarity with Framework LTC/QS1 or equivalent billing experience
  • Proven ability to manage billing staff and lead process improvement initiatives
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • AL Pharmacy Technician License
  • PTCB Pharmacy Technician
  • Background in revenue cycle management or healthcare finance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
