We’re looking for a reliable and professional Oil Shop Manager Assistant to join our growing shop. If you’re good with people and comfortable working around cars, we’d love to meet you!


Position Overview


The Oil Shop Manager Assistant is a key leadership role supporting the daily operations of our lube center. They are responsible for delivering exceptional customer services, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards while completing oil changes and emissions testing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and recommend appropriate services based on manufacturer guidelines and customer needs.
  • Ensure all Car Spa policies, procedures, and service standards are followed within the Lube Center.
  • Support the Lube Manager in daily operations, including scheduling and staff supervision.
  • Oversee team performance and enforce quality standards through direct coaching and training.
  • Monitor inventory levels, place supply orders, and conduct monthly physical inventory.
  • Perform and verify that opening and closing procedures are completed accurately.
  • Assist in achieving departmental profitability and labor budget goals.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment by monitoring tools and equipment as well as facility upkeep.
  • Handle customer concerns and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate service records, employee training logs, and reporting documentation.
  • Perform all duties as outlined in the Lube Technician job description when needed.


Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in a service bay environment, including exposure to varying weather conditions.
  • Must remain alert and safety-conscious in an area with continuous vehicle movement and machinery.
  • Frequent standing, bending, stooping, and reaching are required to perform job functions.
  • Required use of personal protective equipment, including safety goggles, gloves, bump cap, and ear protection.


What We’re Looking For

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Reliable, coachable, eager to grow
  • Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet


Preferred

  • Prior supervisory or management experience in an automotive or retail environment.
