We specialize in high-end walk-in closets, dressing rooms, boutique-style wardrobe systems, and built-in storage environments that blend function with elevated aesthetics.

As we expand our closets division, we are seeking a talented Closet Sales Designer who can bring creative vision, technical design ability, and exceptional client experience to discerning homeowners across Southwest Florida.

Position Overview

The Closet Sales Designer is responsible for guiding clients through the entire design and sales process—from initial consultation and vision discovery to concept development, pricing, and final contract approval. This role blends creativity, interior design sensibility, technical aptitude, and strong relationship-building skills.

Your core mission: Create stunning, personalized closet systems while delivering a white-glove luxury experience that reflects the Calista brand.

Key Responsibilities Client Experience & Sales

  • Conduct in-home or showroom consultations to understand client needs, lifestyle, and design preferences.
  • Present design concepts, finishes, accessories, hardware, and premium upgrade options.
  • Develop strong client relationships and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts with clarity and professionalism.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Design & Technical Work

  • Create custom closet layouts using company design software.
  • Measure job sites accurately and document conditions for production.
  • Translate client vision into functional, elegant closet designs aligned with Calista’s aesthetic standards.
  • Collaborate with Calista’s engineering, manufacturing, and installation teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
  • Recommend organizational solutions, lighting options, materials, and accessories.

Project Coordination

  • Oversee projects from design approval to installation scheduling.
  • Conduct on-site walk-throughs with installers when needed.
  • Ensure all designs, drawings, and specifications are accurate for production.

Brand Representation

  • Maintain strong knowledge of Calista’s materials, finishes, construction standards, and product lines.
  • Uphold Calista’s luxury service standards in every client interaction.
  • Contribute to showroom merchandising, events, and marketing initiatives as required.

Qualifications

  • Experience in closet design, cabinetry design, interior design, or similar field (preferred but not required).
  • Strong spatial awareness, attention to detail, and ability to visualize in 3D.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with design software (Cabinet Vision, CAD, SketchUp, or similar) is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation for in-home consultations.
  • A passion for design, organization, and creating beautiful spaces.
