Lucky Dog NYC is a premier luxury pet care company serving the Upper West Side of Manhattan. We are looking for dependable, energetic, dog-loving individuals to join our growing team as professional dog walkers.

Compensation

• Typical compensation ranges from approximately $18–$28+ per hour, depending on schedule, performance, experience, and client volume
• Paid training provided
• Opportunities for growth into larger routes and full-time positions

What You'll Do

• Walk dogs throughout the Upper West Side
• Safely handle dogs of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments
• Provide attentive, focused care during walks
• Communicate professionally with clients and management
• Maintain punctuality and reliability every day
• Navigate stairs and walk extensively throughout the day
• Build trust with both dogs and their owners

Training & Support

We provide comprehensive training covering:

• Dog behavior and handling
• Breed tendencies and group dynamics
• Safety protocols
• Client communication
• Time management and route efficiency
• Conflict resolution and professionalism

No professional dog walking experience is required, but prior experience with dogs is a plus.

Schedule

• Part-time position / Full-Time Position
• Weekday availability required
• Must be able to start work between 8:00 AM–8:30 AM on the Upper West Side
• Additional evening availability is a plus
• Strong performers may have the opportunity to transition into full-time roles

Physical Requirements

• This is a highly active position
• Walkers typically average 20,000–30,000 steps per day
• Must be comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in all weather conditions
