Luxury Head Spa Esthetician (Flexible Schedule)

We are opening one of the first luxury head spas in the Bay Area and are seeking a passionate, hospitality-driven licensed esthetician to join us as we grow.

The Head Ritual is a luxury scalp and skin wellness studio offering advanced head spa treatments, AI scalp analysis, and curated ritual-based services designed to support scalp health, skin health, and nervous system relaxation.

This role is ideal for an esthetician who loves creating elevated guest experiences and wants the flexibility to set their own open-book schedule while building a loyal clientele within a fast-growing luxury brand.

What You’ll Do

• Perform customized facial treatments focused on skin health, relaxation, and results
• Conduct thorough skin consultations and recommend personalized treatment plans
• Educate guests on skincare routines and recommend retail products for at-home care
• Provide facial massage, neck, décolleté, shoulder, and arm massage as part of service rituals
• Maintain strict sanitation and cleanliness standards for all tools, equipment, and treatment areas
• Deliver a calm, nurturing, high-touch luxury guest experience from check-in to completion
• Support studio flow and guest hospitality as needed

Optional / Additional Duties (if cosmetology licensed):

• Perform head spa and scalp treatments following signature protocols
• Provide AI scalp analysis and scalp wellness education
• Hair washing, conditioning, scalp exfoliation, and blow-dry finishing

Qualifications

Required:

• Valid California Esthetician License (must have)
• Passion for skincare, scalp wellness, and luxury guest experience
• Strong hospitality mindset and communication skills
• Reliable, professional, and self-motivated
• Ability to commute to Walnut Creek, CA (94596)

Highly Preferred:

• California Cosmetology License (major plus)
• Experience in spa, facial, or scalp treatments
• Weekend availability

Schedule & Compensation

• Flexible schedule — set your own availability / open-book model
• Expected hours: ~20–40 per week depending on booking volume
• Hourly pay + service commissions + retail commissions + tips

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
