Luxury Optician/Eyeglasses Sales Consultant

We, at Charm City Optical, are looking for sales representatives to add to our growing team. Candidates with a strong background in Inside Sales are encouraged to apply as well. We are a family owned and operated practice that has been a staple in the Pikesville/Baltimore area for 20 years now. We pride ourselves on our family values and customer service. Charm City Optical is dedicated to providing exemplary patient care furthermore has been recognized as a leader in high-end eyewear sales. Our patient base continues to grow at an exponential rate therefore the ideal candidate will be accustomed to a fast paced working environment. 2-3 years of experience in Optics or Sales is highly preferred.

The ideal candidate will possess/or be:

• Have 2-3 years of strong performance driven sales experience

• Have a College degree, if not ABO certified

• Customer service driven

• Be driven to succeed

• Be dedicated enough to study optical guidelines and basics at home and have the ability to apply that knowledge in the work setting

• The ability to stand for long periods of time

SOME responsibilities may be:

• Greet patients upon entering

• Work with patients to frame style them according to their needs and prescription

• Work with patient’s insurance companies to make sure their proper benefits are applied

• Dispense, fit and adjust eyewear properly

• Prepare patients records for the doctors

• Check the status of orders and notify patients when orders are ready to be picked up
