Luxury Sales and Social Media Associate

Marketing and Sales Associate (Entry-Level) - Adib’s Rugs (Walnut Creek) Adib’s is a family rug gallery serving the Bay Area since 1974. We help homeowners and interior designers find and care for exceptional hand‑knotted rugs plus expert wash, repair, and appraisals. Our Walnut Creek showroom is open Mon-Sat, 9:30am-6:00pm (closed Sunday).

Role snapshot- You’ll welcome clients in the showroom, travel locally for in‑home rug trials, build relationships with interior designers, and help create short‑form content (Reels/TikTok) that shows our product and services. We’ll train you on rugs and on how to merchandise and sell in a luxury environment. No degree required, just hustle, great people skills, and comfort being on camera. You will assist the e‑commerce site with updating product pages and posts.

What you’ll do

• Greet clients, learn their space/style needs, and guide selections; write wash/repair quotes and close sales.
• Coordinate in‑home trial deliveries/returns and follow‑ups (our signature service customers and designers love).
• Create 3–5 short videos per week (phone is fine); write engaging captions and publish.
• Help with adding products, catalogues, and content to the ecommerce website.

What you bring

• Friendly, polished customer service and clear communication (in person, phone, and DM).
• Comfortable shooting and appearing in short videos; basic phone editing.
• Organized, reliable, and eager to learn luxury retail.
• Weekend availability (Thursday, Fridays, and Saturdays required).
• Bonus: retail, showroom, interior design, or content creation experience.

Pay & schedule

• Base: $22–$26 per hour (non‑exempt), depending on experience.
• Schedule: Full‑time, 5 days/week, includes Saturdays, daytime hours aligned to showroom schedule. Address: 1426 S Main St, Walnut Creek, CA 94596.

How we’ll evaluate success (first 90 days)

• Consistently publish 12+ Reels/month/blogs and refresh key product pages.
• Contribute to assisted sales through appointments, follow‑ups, and in‑home trials.
