Siemens Gebze factory is the lead factory for Air Insulated Switchgear production in Siemens World and exporting to more than 80 countries worldwide! For our Smart Infrastructure Electrification and Automation Division in Gebze we are searching for a Design Engineer. This role will be designing and developing low and medium voltage switchgears!

What part will you play?

Designing and developing of LV and/or MV Switchgear
Executing special customer design
Being a part of product enhancement activities
Researching possible solutions to customers’ requests and calculating estimated engineering and material costs
Preparing material list (BOM), assembly drawing and part drawing
Pursuing the work on production and assembly lines
Giving technical support to sales/after sales departments

What you need to make real what matters?

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant fields
Advanced command of Turkish and English, German is an asset
Expertise in using CAD programs (preferably Siemens NX)
Being involved in factory operations is an asset
Good command of MS Office applications
Be eager to design
Problem-solving and strong communication skills.
The role requires a strong on-site presence at our factory office in Kocaeli, Gebze due to the nature of design and production collaboration.
Driving license is required and applicant must actively drive.
