We are seeking an experienced M365 Migration Engineer to join our team, with a strong focus on Exchange and SharePoint migrations. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with deep expertise in Microsoft 365 workloads and proven experience using leading migration tools such as Quest ODM.

You will play a key role in planning, executing, and supporting migrations in complex enterprise environments, including those involving mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, technically proficient, and comfortable working directly with clients and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute tenant to tenant migrations of Exchange (on-prem and online) and SharePoint environments to Microsoft 365.
  • Use tools such as Quest On Demand Migration (ODM) to conduct smooth and secure migrations.
  • Assess existing environments, identify risks, and create migration plans and timelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mail flow, permissions, and data integrity during migrations.
  • Configure and support Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Entra ID Connect, and Active Directory to ensure seamless identity management and federation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Create documentation and provide post-migration support and knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 migration projects, with a primary focus on Exchange Online and SharePoint Online.
  • Hands-on experience with Quest On Demand Migration (ODM)
  • Solid understanding and experience with Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) and Entra ID Connect.
  • Strong skills in Active Directory architecture, synchronization, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting in M365 environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong business acumen
  • Previous experience collaborating and working with US based teams
  • Ability to work partial US hours

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with Intune and/or System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for device management.
  • Involvement in IT projects related to mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures, including domain consolidations or tenant-to-tenant migrations.
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-100, MS-101, or equivalent) are a plus.
  • MS-102: Microsoft 365 Administrator
  • SC-300: Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator
  • AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate
  • MD-102: Endpoint Administrator Associate (nice to have)
