Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and friendly MA Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our office. Duties
- Greet visitors warmly and direct them appropriately, ensuring a positive first impression
- Check-in patients upon arrival, obtain health forms and insurance cards.
- Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and relay messages efficiently.
- Schedule new and existing patients, and confirm patient appointments.
- Manage patient inquiries and provide information regarding services, office policies and insurance / billing
- Maintain accurate visitor logs, appointment schedules, and office records
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and mail distribution
- Support office management tasks such as filing, data entry, and document proofreading
- Utilize computer skills in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks to support daily operations
- Obtain insurance authorizations and check insurance coverage benefits.
- Escort patients to exam rooms and ask about their chief complaint and history, recording in to the electronic health record.
- Be able to take vitals, hearing screening, vision screening, blood pressure, finger sticks, urine dips and administer injections.
- Clean patient rooms.
- Communicate and collaborate with your team if there are delays ensuring a high-quality patient experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in front desk or receptionist roles within an office environment. Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a medical receptionist/customer service role
- Strong proficiency with multi-line phone systems and excellent phone etiquette
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Bilingual abilities are highly preferred to assist diverse clients and visitors
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite, data entry.
- Prior clerical or administrative experience is essential for success in this role
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
