MA Front Desk Receptioanist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and friendly MA Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our office. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, handle multi-line phone systems, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors and staff alike. Duties

  • Greet visitors warmly and direct them appropriately, ensuring a positive first impression
  • Check-in patients upon arrival, obtain health forms and insurance cards.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and relay messages efficiently.
  • Schedule new and existing patients, and confirm patient appointments.
  • Manage patient inquiries and provide information regarding services, office policies and insurance / billing
  • Maintain accurate visitor logs, appointment schedules, and office records
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and mail distribution
  • Support office management tasks such as filing, data entry, and document proofreading
  • Utilize computer skills in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks to support daily operations
  • Obtain insurance authorizations and check insurance coverage benefits.
  • Escort patients to exam rooms and ask about their chief complaint and history, recording in to the electronic health record.
  • Be able to take vitals, hearing screening, vision screening, blood pressure, finger sticks, urine dips and administer injections.
  • Clean patient rooms.
  • Communicate and collaborate with your team if there are delays ensuring a high-quality patient experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in front desk or receptionist roles within an office environment. Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a medical receptionist/customer service role
  • Strong proficiency with multi-line phone systems and excellent phone etiquette
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Bilingual abilities are highly preferred to assist diverse clients and visitors
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite, data entry.
  • Prior clerical or administrative experience is essential for success in this role
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
