renewable energy, mobility, logistics,

Responsibilities

Design and implement regression and classification algorithms to improve the accuracy of short-term weather forecasts, focusing on
renewable energy production
and
extreme weather alerts
.

Deploy
machine learning models to production, analyze and track their performance.
-
Analyze and interpret
spatially complex datasets
related to numerical weather prediction (NWP) models, radar and satellite imagery, atmospheric and climate variables.

Assist in the creation of
data visualizations and dashboards
to provide insights for internal and external stakeholders.

Stay ahead of the latest developments in the field of Meteorology & Artificial Intelligence and drive Buluttan’s AI vision in meteorology.
Qualifications
- B.Sc/M.Sc/PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Meteorology, Physics, or any related department.

2+ years
customer-facing, project-delivery experience, professional services, and/or consulting experience.

Experience in working with ML models in
production
.

Strong foundation in
Machine Learning
.

Strong proficiency in
Python
,
SQL
, and
Git
.

Willingness to explore and actively use
AI coding assistants
(e.g., Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code) tools to accelerate development.

Trying to follow
best software development practices
(clean code, testing, version control).

Proven reputation of problem-solving techniques, attention to detail, stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and professional communication skills.

Full ownership & capability of managing responsibilities with minimal guidance.
Nice to have

Experience with MLOps best practices.

Experience with experiment tracking tools (MLFlow, Weights & Biases, etc.)

Experience with time series regression & forecasting algorithms.

Experience working with weather data, radar and satellite image recognition.

Familiarity with GCP & data engineering pipelines.

Having solved Physics based problems.

Knowledge of data visualization tools (Grafana, Tableau, Looker).

Passion for meteorology.

An active stance on climate change & sustainability.
