Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Python and a solid understanding of AI/ML systems, particularly agentic AI architectures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable backend services, integrating LLM-driven workflows using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and Google ADK, and deploying production-grade solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

This role involves close collaboration with data scientists, AI engineers, and product teams to design and implement intelligent, autonomous systems that power next-generation applications.

Key ResponsibilitiesBackend Engineering

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django)
• Build RESTful and event-driven APIs to support AI-powered applications
• Implement robust authentication, authorization, logging, and monitoring mechanisms
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of backend systems

AI/ML & Agentic AI Integration

• Integrate LLMs and AI agents into backend workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, and Google ADK
• Design and implement agentic AI systems (multi-agent orchestration, tool calling, memory, reasoning flows)
• Collaborate with ML engineers to productionize ML models and inference pipelines
• Optimize AI workflows for latency, cost, and scalability

Cloud & DevOps (GCP)

• Deploy and manage backend and AI services on GCP (Cloud Run, GKE, Compute Engine)
• Work with Vertex AI for model hosting, experimentation, and pipelines
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions / Cloud Build
• Manage cloud resources with cost, security, and performance best practices

Data & Infrastructure

• Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, BigQuery, Firestore
• Implement caching and messaging solutions (Redis, Pub/Sub)
• Ensure proper data handling, observability, and error recovery

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python for backend development
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI / Flask / Django
• Solid understanding of AI/ML fundamentals (model lifecycle, inference, embeddings, vector search)
• Practical experience with LangChain, LangGraph, and/or Google ADK
• Experience designing agent-based or autonomous AI systems
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services

AI & LLM Stack

• Experience working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, etc.)
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, tool/function calling, memory management
• Familiarity with vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, Vertex AI Vector Search)

Cloud & Engineering Best Practices

• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
• Understanding of microservices and distributed systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, and logging tools
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Job Types: Part-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
