Machine Maintenance Engineer / Technician

We are seeking an experienced Machine Maintenance Engineer/Technician with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in the pressing/stamping industry. The candidate will be responsible for preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of press machines and related equipment to ensure minimal downtime and optimal productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of:

Mechanical & pneumatic power presses

Hydraulic presses

Stamping and sheet metal forming machines

Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues.

Ensure minimum downtime by quick fault diagnosis and corrective action.

Maintain TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) records and maintenance logs.

Coordinate with production team for machine availability and improvement activities.

Monitor machine performance and suggest improvements.

Handle spare parts planning and inventory control.

Ensure safety compliance and adherence to company standards.

Assist in installation and commissioning of new machines.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of press machines and stamping operations.

Hands-on experience in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.

Basic knowledge of PLC troubleshooting (preferred).

Experience in TPM and preventive maintenance planning.

Root cause analysis capability.

Good problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification:

Diploma / ITI / BE in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

4+ years of experience in pressing/stamping or sheet metal manufacturing.

Experience handling high-tonnage press machines.

Exposure to automation in press lines (added advantage).

Willing to work in shifts.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
