Machine Maintenance Mechanic

Core Roles and Responsibilities:

• Preventive Maintenance: Performing scheduled inspections, lubrication, and adjustments on machinery to prevent breakdowns, as noted by Workable.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnosing malfunctions through observation or diagnostic tools and repairing or replacing broken parts, according to Betterteam.
• Installation & Setup: Assembling and installing new machinery and equipment in production lines.
• Safety Compliance: Ensuring all machinery operates within safety guidelines, maintaining a clean work environment, and using personal protective equipment.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate maintenance logs, reports, and records, often using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Technical Support: Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals, notes Spotterful.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Tool Proficiency: Experience with hand tools, power tools, hoists, and precision measuring instruments, says the Bureau of Labor Statistics (.gov).
• Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly diagnose issues and implement solutions to minimize production downtime.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy equipment, and work in varied environments.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
