Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. Your experience in mechanical systems, precision measurement, and manufacturing processes will be essential to maintaining our production standards. Duties

  • Set up, operate, and monitor various manufacturing machinery including machines that automatically coil, form, stamps, wraps, etc. metal wire and strip following verbal and written instructions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of parts.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and maintain quality control standards.
  • Perform routine cleaning on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
  • Assist in fabrication, tooling setup, welding, assembly line tasks, and packaging processes as needed to meet production deadlines.
  • At shift start, check the first piece for compliance to specifications.
  • Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Experience

  • Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with hands-on operation of metal forming machines.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in machining techniques, fabrication, and processes.
  • Experience reading blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models; proficiency in SolidWorks is a plus.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers accurately for quality assurance purposes.
  • Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting machine issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
