Machine Operator

Hours: Monday-Friday from 7:00am-4:30pm

Compensation: $19-22 per hour + monthly bonus between $0-500

Overview: As a Machine Operator, you will start by learning pallet 101 by building pallets and learning material. Soon after, you will be able to grow within the company and transition to a machine operator role where you can cut lumber or train on an automatic nailer.

Duties & Responsiblities:

Utilize a nail gun to build pallets and other products according to design
Sort pallet components
Utilize smaller equipment to cut lumber to the proper size
Train on all saws and cutting equipment and meet production standards on each machine
Set up machines according to set run using proper lockout tagout and hand tools. Be able to crawl in and under machine.
Sort and inspect pallet components. Throw out any bad lumber into a bin
Keep daily log of work done to turn into shift supervisor at end of each shift
