Machine Operator – Grave Shift (Extruder Operator)

As an Extruder Operator in our Vinyl Extrusion division, you’ll be at the heart of the process—ensuring top‑tier product quality, equipment performance, and a safe work environment.

What You’ll Do

You’ll play an essential role in operating and maintaining extrusion equipment by:

• • ️ Operating 1–3 PVC extrusion lines to meet production and quality standards

• ️ Safely disassembling, cleaning, rebuilding, and changing over extrusion tooling using overhead cranes

• Performing visual inspections and taking precise measurements with calipers

• Keeping your work area clean and organized—spray down equipment, sweep floors, remove debris

• Completing productivity reports, machine condition updates, bundle tickets, and work orders

• Assisting with packaging and forklift operations as needed

What You Bring

• Associate degree/technical school certificate or 6–12 months of related experience

• Valid forklift certification

• ️ Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and procedures

• ➗ Solid math skills (fractions, decimals, percentages, bar graphs)

• Strong problem‑solving skills and comfort following detailed instructions

• • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multitasking environment
