Machine Operator/Assembler (2nd Shift M-Thur)

WORK HOURS 3:45 PM to 2:00 AM Monday to Thursday (4 days x 10 Hours)

The General Assembler 1 is responsible for the fabrication of tents, sidewalls, and other vinyl products which are produced. The role includes operating equipment such as cutting machines, Fabric Bonding Machine, and manual assembly. Training is provided to employees on the assembly and operation of all equipment and product lines.

Essential Duties:

Welding of Vinyl products utilizing a Radio Frequency (RF) Welder (60%)
Interpretation of drawings and cutting of patterns (20%)
Supporting Team Member in fabrication of assemblies (10%)
Misc. support to organization (10%)
Job Specification:

A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
English or Spanish as a primary language
Good verbal communication skills
Must be able to work with others
Working Climate:

Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Positions of material for assembly by equipment.
Able to stand, sit, walk, lift, and reach for a full 8-hour day.
Must be physically able to function within all process steps of the department.
Material Handling of Vinyl Products up to 75lb, Assembly of vinyl products, Folding, measuring, moving raw materials, cutting of vinyl products up to 75lb.
