Machinery Repair Technician / Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machinery Repair Technician to join our team in Toledo. This position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining used metalworking machine tools. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems and be comfortable troubleshooting a wide variety of industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair used metalworking machinery including lathes, mills, grinders, presses, saws, and CNC equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, motors, wiring, controls, and switches
• Perform mechanical repairs including bearings, belts, gears, pumps, and alignment
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair hydraulic systems including hoses, cylinders, valves, and pumps
• Conduct preventative maintenance and machine inspections
• Disassemble, clean, rebuild, and reassemble machinery as needed
• Test machinery after repairs to ensure safe and proper operation
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, manuals, and technical drawings
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving machinery when needed

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial machinery repair, maintenance, or related field preferred
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welders, and measuring equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems efficiently
• Experience with CNC machines is a plus
• Forklift or rigging experience is a plus
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop environment
