About the Role

As our Machining Supervisor, you'll lead a skilled team of Machinists and oversee daily workshop operations across borers, lathes, drills and mills. You'll ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard, while driving continuous improvement and supporting capability development across the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Machinists
• Plan, allocate and supervise daily machining activities
• Manage materials, stock and workflow to meet deadlines
• Build and support a strong leading hand structure within the team
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the workshop
• Deliver training and upskilling programmes to enhance team capability

What You'll Bring

• Australian recognised Machining Trade Qualification
• Strong machining knowledge across tooling, systems and production processes
• Experience with Fanuc machine controls
• Dogman / Rigger Basic - desirable
• Certificate IV in Leadership & Management - desirable
• Competent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Strong understanding of quality and safety management systems
