We are seeking a Lathe Hand / Mill Hand - Journeyman Toolmaker to join our team!

The machines are manual and every job is unique & different.

We will challenge you! We make gages, among other things, and gages are the tools manufacturers use to measure their quality. We are at the upper echelon of manufacturing and we only want the best. We hold tolerances at .0001" or 2.5 microns.

Responsibilities:

Operate Manual Lathes, Mills, to produce precision parts and instruments

Modify parts and materials to meet blueprint specification

Prequalifying material & parts is required

Perform routine maintenance on machinery

Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments

Qualifications:

Previous experience running Manual Mills & Lathes required

Must have own tools

Strong analytical and mathematical skills

Blueprint reading experience required for position

Strong attention to detail

Toolmakers with experience on all machines is a PLUS

High School diploma or GED required, other education a PLUS

Minimum 2 years on Mill or Lathe
