MACHINIST- NIGHT SHIFT

• Must be able to work night shift, Monday through Thursday: 4:30 pm to 3 am.
• Proficient in manual lathe, manual mill operation, and CNC equipment.
• Perform machine shop operations to support assembly floor.
• Strong blueprint reading skills.
• Must be able to utilize the proper tools to meet tolerance requirements.
• Properly and safely select, align, secure, and remove holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.
• Utilize and maintain PPE.
• Maintain work area in an organized and clean manner.
• Equipment to be used: Manual Lathe, Doosan CNC Mill, Mazak CNC Turning Center, Manual Summit Mill, Radial Arm Drill.
• Other functions as assigned.
• Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodation.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Technical training in Machining preferred
• One year of related experience required
• Experience in MasterCam and/or GibbsCam
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T knowledge preferred
• Must be familiar with machine functions
• This is a night shift position. Will work Monday-Thursday 10 hour shifts from 4:30 pm to 3 am. 12% shift differential for nights. Overtime may be required on occasion and shift may change during a holiday week.
