Position Summary

Blueprint Energy Partners II, LLC is seeking a Machinist / Welder to support our oilfield operations. This position is responsible for machining precision parts, performing welding repairs, and maintaining oilfield equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with CNC lathes, blueprint reading, and welding in a fast-paced oil & gas environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC lathes to machine oilfield components to precise specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various metals (carbon steel, stainless, etc.)
• Repair, fabricate, and modify oilfield tools and equipment
• Conduct routine inspections and quality checks on machined parts
• Maintain proper tolerances and ensure all work meets company and industry standards
• Troubleshoot machining and welding issues to minimize downtime
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines and shop equipment
• Follow all safety procedures, JSA requirements, and OSHA standards
• Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in CNC machining and/or welding (oil & gas preferred)
• Proficiency with CNC lathe programming and operation (Fanuc or similar controls preferred)
• Strong understanding of machining tolerances and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Welding certifications are a plus (AWS or equivalent)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Experience working with oilfield equipment, downhole tools, or pressure control equipment preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
• Work in shop and field environments, including exposure to heat, cold, and noise
• Standing, bending, and working with heavy machinery for extended periods

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
