Job Overview
Cryogenic Solutions (CIS) and Ameriflo2 is seeking a skilled/experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate would have 5+ years experience and will be responsible for setting up and operating multi-axis mill-turn and Swiss turning centers to produce precision components, as well as be comfortable in a Team lead role. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, and the use of various measurement tools. The role plays a vital part in ensuring high-quality production standards are maintained through meticulous machine operation and maintenance.
The person we are looking for would be willing to work first shift from 6 am to 4 pm - Mon - Thurs (4 - 10 hour shifts)

Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate Multi-axis mill-turn and Swiss turning centers with bar feeders using Mitsubishi and Fanuc controls.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, GD&T specifications, and CAD models to produce precise parts.
- Conduct precision measurements with calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify part dimensions.
- Maintain machine calibration and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, fixtures, or machine operation; adjust programs as needed.
- Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for various machining tasks; set up tooling with hand tools and power tools.
- Follow safety protocols including proper use of safety equipment.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying process improvements and reducing waste.
- Assist with assembly processes or inventory management as necessary.
Experience
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery, preferably with Multi-Axis mill-turns and Swiss style turning machines.
- Experience with manual lathes a plus.
- High School Diploma, GED/HSE or HiSET required / Additional certifications a plus
- Mechanical knowledge with proficiency in using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
- Strong ability to multi-task and run multiple machines
- Familiarity with SolidWorks, CAD software, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations during setup and operation.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with attention to detail and safety compliance.
