Magento Developer

We are seeking an experienced Magento Developer with strong expertise in building and deploying robust, scalable, and high-performing e-commerce solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Magento architecture, custom module development, and best practices in e-commerce platforms, along with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy multiple fully functional e-commerce websites using Magento.
• Integrate and manage Magento extensions, APIs, and third-party services such as payment gateways and shipping methods.
• Customize Magento modules, themes, and extensions to meet specific business requirements.
• Apply advanced knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript within the Magento ecosystem.
• Ensure best practices in security, responsive design, SEO optimization, and performance tuning for Magento websites.
• Oversee database management, ensuring smooth integration and scalability.
• Use version control systems (Git) effectively and maintain clean, well-documented code.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement effective solutions for both frontend and backend operations.
• Lead and mentor development team members, ensuring collaboration and adherence to project deadlines.
• Stay updated with the latest Magento features, tools, and e-commerce industry trends.
• Utilize debugging tools, testing methodologies, and deployment processes specific to Magento.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in e-commerce platform development with a strong focus on Magento.
• Magento Certification (preferred as per company policy).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred, not mandatory).
• Proven expertise in performance optimization, scalability, and site troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of Magento architecture, database structures, data models, and security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring a development team is highly desirable.
• Must be fluent in English (verbal and written).

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree (Required, or equivalent practical experience).
