Main Office Administrative Assistant

Academy of the Holy Angels seeks a highly organized, professional, and welcoming individual to serve as our Main Office Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and will play a vital role in supporting the school leadership team as well as the daily operations of the school.

Responsibilities

· Assist with school-wide communications, mailings, and correspondence.

· Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.

· Maintain accurate records and filing systems, both electronic and paper.

· Support administrators with scheduling, meetings, and special projects.

· Prepare reports, letters, forms, and other documents as needed.

· Assist with employment records management and compliance with confidentiality

· Coordinate office supplies and maintain an organized office environment.

· Support school events, activities, and special programs as needed

· Collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and parents to ensure smooth school operations.

Qualifications

· Previous administrative or office experience required; school experience preferred.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and office technology.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.

· Friendly, professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills.

· Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team
environment.

The position is a full time, 40 hour work-week in person, from the last two weeks in August until June 20th each year. Salary commensurate with experience. Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, resume, and references to Mrs. Jean Miller, Principal at principal@holyangels.org.
