Maintainance Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to handle preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of machines, equipment, and utilities in our manufacturing facility. The candidate should be skilled in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Handle breakdown maintenance and troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ensure machine uptime and minimize production downtime.
• Inspect, monitor, and maintain motors, pumps, compressors, panels, and utility systems.
• Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities, reports, and checklists.
• Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machines/equipment.
• Monitor spare parts stock and raise requirements to avoid shortages.
• Follow all safety procedures, lock-out/tag-out protocols, and company policies.
• Work closely with production, quality, and management teams for timely issue resolution.
• Identify areas for process improvement and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma/ITI in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics or equivalent.
• 2–7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance, electrical circuits, PLC basics (added advantage).
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting machines such as CNC/VMC/HMC/presses or other industrial machinery.
• Good understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and panel wiring.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to work in shifts when required.
