Maintanance Supervisor (elctrical & electronics)

The Workshop Supervisor is responsible for independently handling troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and installation of electrical and electronic systems/equipment used in a fabrication workshop supporting oil & gas projects. The role ensures all machinery, tools, and electrical systems operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • Independently diagnose and repair electrical faults in fabrication shop equipment and machinery.
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical systems and workshop machinery.
  • Troubleshoot motors, control panels, breakers, transformers, switches, relays, and distribution systems.
  • Maintain workshop lighting, power distribution, cable routing, and electrical safety systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

Electronics & Control Systems

  • Repair and maintain electronic control systems, PLC panels, VFDs, sensors, and automation components.
  • Troubleshoot electronic circuits and industrial instrumentation systems.
  • Calibrate and test electronic devices and monitoring equipment.
  • Ensure proper functioning of welding machine electronics and fabrication-related equipment.

Fabrication Shop Equipment Maintenance

  • Maintain fabrication workshop equipment such as:
  • Welding machines
  • CNC machines
  • Cutting machines
  • Drilling and grinding machines
  • Compressors and generators
  • Hoists and lifting equipment electrical systems
  • Coordinate shutdown maintenance activities with production teams.

Pay: QAR4,000.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
