Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair of equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, electrical systems, and customer service, with the ability to lead and supervise when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems within the facility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems, including logic controllers.
• Utilize schematics to understand system layouts and perform necessary repairs.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they become major issues.
• Weld components as needed for repairs or modifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Supervise junior staff or contractors as required, providing leadership and guidance in maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a focus on electrical systems.
• Familiarity with logic controllers and the ability to interpret schematics.
• Strong customer service skills with a commitment to quality work.
• Experience in welding is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to maintain equipment using tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing.
• Leadership skills with experience supervising others is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
