Clubhouse Maintenance Position

Job Summary

The Clubhouse Maintenance position is responsible for maintaining the clubhouses in excellent condition through regular maintenance and expedient repair. Maintain an aesthetically desirable and safe club environment, which meets the expectations of the GM, Facility Manager and Club Members.

Job Tasks Day-to-Day

• Services and makes general repairs to the lighting, heating, ventilating, plumbing, electrical, painting, furniture, woodwork, elevators, appliances, and related maintenance activities.
• Monitors work done by outside contractors and communicates the status of each project to the Facility Manager.
• Maintains accurate maintenance and repair records of equipment and machinery.
• Assists in ensuring that all building maintenance, repair, and cleaning activities are identified, scheduled, and completed.
• Keeps the workshop areas safe, clean, and well-lighted.
• Ensures that all refuse is properly removed from the clubhouse and its premises.
• Attends department staff meetings if necessary.
• Responds to emergencies at any time.
• Issues supplies and equipment to employees.
• Maintains inventory of cleaning, maintenance, repair, and related supplies.
• Assists the Clubhouse Manager to develop and maintain a resource management plan that outlines short-term and long-term requirements for repair and maintenance, capital replacement and capital requirements.
• Ensures our highly efficient safety program with an emphasis on awareness, discipline, and compliance; conforms to OSHA standards.
• Orders janitorial products and parts for repair work.
• Completes other appropriate assignments made by the Facility Manager.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent bending, lifting, climbing, stooping, and pulling.
• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
• Frequent repetitive motions.
• Prolonged standing and walking.
• Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• 2 years in the general maintenance field with knowledge of HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing.
