Campground Maintenance / Grounds Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Maintenance / Grounds Worker to help maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and functionality of our campground. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining beautiful grounds, and can perform a variety of maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Mow grass, trim weeds, and maintain landscaping throughout the campground
• Clean and maintain campsites, common areas, restrooms, and recreational facilities
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on campground facilities and equipment
• Assist with trash collection and disposal
• Inspect grounds and facilities for safety hazards and report issues
• Set up and maintain picnic areas, fire rings, signage, and other campground amenities
• Assist guests with basic maintenance-related concerns as needed
• Operate lawn care and maintenance equipment safely
• Support seasonal opening and closing procedures

Qualifications

• Previous groundskeeping, maintenance, landscaping, or related experience preferred
• Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and lawn equipment
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license required
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time, in all weather conditions.

Compensation

Competitive hourly pay based on experience.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
