Entry Level Maintenance and Landscaping

Welcome to Newfield House, a family owned, licensed nursing home providing 24-hour nursing care in a beautifully maintained setting. Newfield House has earned a reputation as the best nursing home on the South Shore from years of putting our residents’ and their families’ needs and preferences first.

We are in search of a maintenance team member that is looking to learn new skills and become part of our team.

Essential Duties:

· Perform a wide range of outdoor/landscaping duties, including but not limited to mowing, weeding, watering plants, leaf pick up.

· Perform a wide range of cleaning duties, including but not limited to cleaning floors, windows, tables, chairs and equipment.

Help with set up/clean up and putting on parties.

Assist families with their requests.

· Perform required light maintenance on equipment and appliances

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)

· Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.

· Must have effective verbal and written communication skills

· Must possess basic reading skills

· Must be organized and able to prioritize and multi-task.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50-20 per hour

Expected hours: 32-40 per week

Schedule:

• Fixed weekday schedule
• Every other weekend
