Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering; Master’s degree is a plus

Minimum 7 years of experience in maintenance, including at least 3 years in a managerial position, preferably within the automotive industry

Proven experience in maintenance engineering, including equipment reliability improvement, preventive and predictive maintenance planning, and optimization of maintenance processes
-
Knowledge of automotive quality systems (IATF 16949)

Good knowledge of relevant management systems and standards, including ISO 14001 Environmental Management, ISO 9001 Quality Management, ISO 27001 Information Security, and OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety

Solid understanding of production processes and terminology

Experience with IFS or similar ERP/maintenance management systems

Proficiency in MS Office applications

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and structured root cause analysis capabilities

Results-oriented with strong leadership and team management abilities

Good command of English, both written and spoken
Key Responsibilities:
-
Minimize equipment failures through preventive maintenance and prompt troubleshooting.
-
Develop, implement, and monitor periodic maintenance procedures and technical inspections.
-
Coordinate maintenance personnel, machinery requirements, spare parts, and materials procurement.
-
Oversee installation, commissioning, and operational readiness of production machinery, auxiliary systems, and emergency equipment.
-
Ensure compliance with occupational health & safety, labor, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
-
Track and optimize energy consumption, maintenance costs, and downtime.
-
Manage departmental and investment budgets, and report performance results.
-
Prepare monthly reports on maintenance activities, costs, and performance for management.
-
Monitor and follow up on annual planned maintenance programs, including auxiliary systems (compressors, transformers, forklifts, pumps, facilities, and environmental systems).

Plan, execute, and report on new factory and plant investments.
-
Coordinate external vendors and contractors when needed.
-
Implement and maintain quality, environmental, and information security standards within the maintenance department.

Perform additional tasks and special projects assigned by management
Occupational Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
-
Implement and enforce HSE measures and ensure team compliance
-
Set department HSE targets aligned with factory objectives and follow up on actions
-
Monitor environmental impact of processes, maintain records, and ensure preventive maintenance
-
Ensure contractors and vendors comply with factory HSE policies
-
Support HSE evaluations and report improvement opportunities to management
Energy Management System (EMS)
-
Promote energy efficiency and monitor energy consumption within the facility
-
Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve energy performance, reporting to management
-
Coordinate energy requirements with relevant departments and support EMS initiatives
-
Ensure compliance with internal/external energy audits and legal requirements
-
Maintain procedures, controls, and regular updates for energy-related information
Information Security Management System (ISMS)
-
Support implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of the Information Security Management System (ISO 27001)
-
Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 standards, internal policies, and security objectives
