Maintenance and Transportation Driver

Make a difference! Under the supervision of the Executive Director, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the building and ensuring safety standards for residents and staff. You will also be the main point of contact for transportation of patients when needed. Experience preferred.

Maintenance Assistant Summary of Duties:

• Cleaning and Maintenance: Regular cleaning of facility floors, lights, vents, and maintaining the Smoke Shack. Painting, exterior pressure washing and leaf blowing to keep the facility's appearance.
• Audits and Checks: Monthly bed audits, weekly outlet audits, door audits, and regular water quality checks.
• Equipment and Repairs: Assist with wheelchair and bed repairs, check HVAC and resident room filters, clean coils on condenser units, and remove and clean hood vents.
• Support Tasks: Assist with setting up/taking down meetings, helping with housekeeping and laundry, driving the bus as needed, gathering equipment for therapy and nursing, and supporting fire drills as needed.
• Other Duties: Pick up shred bin contents, test water temperatures weekly, and perform other tasks as directed by administration.
• Transportation: Pick up and drop off of residents to and from hospitals, appointments and outings.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
