About the Role:
Kadima at Campbelltown, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upkeep of equipment, furniture, and buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:
- Cleaning and maintaining the facility's interior and exterior spaces
- Conducting routine inspections of equipment and reporting any issues or malfunctions
- Performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
- Restocking supplies and materials as necessary
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Respond to resident and staff requests for maintenance and repair services

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a related field
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that require physical effort
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Excellent communication and teamwork skills able to complete general repairs like dry wall, minor plumbing repair and other maintenance duties
