Responsible to ensure entire facility equipment integrity, functionality and efficiency, and to ensure a safe, reliable and efficient execution ofmaintenance activities, Lead maintenance activities at site . in compliance with all required rules, regulations, procedures and practices.

Main tasks and responsibilities :

• During EPCIC / Project Phase
• Project delivery;
• Operational HSE responsibility during shipyard, construction, commissioning and operational phases;
• Shipyards construction, MC, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities;
• Shipyard safe systems of work (Permit to Work);
• Operations handover activities; System Completions:
• Shipyard Construction and commissioning SIMOPS/CONOPS management experience;
• Review and comment of maintenance systems commissioning and start up procedures and manage the supervision of the commissioning operational tests.
• Assure and facilitate smooth transition from the marine/hull systems commissioning and start-up phase to operational phase.
• Participate, if required, in FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) & SAT (Site Acceptance Test) of the marine/hull systems/equipment.
• Contribute as needed in the procurement cycle of Maintenance Services Contract.
• Review EPCIC deliverables related to maintenance issues.
• Review and assess the specifications of all the equipment units that will be engaged in operation from arrival at site till and during steady operations phase.

During OPERATIONS Phase

• Promote a positive safety culture within maintenance team.
• Responsible for the maintenance, inspection, testing and operating conditions of all stationary , rotating, instrument and electrical equipment.
• Operate and monitor all production, utility and safety shutdown and alarm equipment.
• Responsible for prompt and efficient reporting.
• MC, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities;
• Development and review of Maintenance Engineering Study.
• Development and review of Risk Based Inspection Study.
• Development and review PM.
• Providing input to RAM Study
• Execute maintenance budget as Annual maintenance plan
• Daily workdown include monitoring and maximizing the efficiency of the production process, equipment operating status.
• Maintaining production equipment, reporting equipment which has failed, and calling on other support groups as required.
• Lead and Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM), Corrective Maintenance (CM) , Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM) tasks.
• Lead and Perform all aspects of first line maintenance, e.g.; cleaning, greasing, lubrication routines, alarm testing, adjusting, level control, etc.
• Assist and guide maintenance crews with repairs and equipment replacement.
• Assist and guide the installation, maintenance, testing and inspection of all types of rotating, sealed and lubricated equipment.
• Maintenance of operations logbooks and records as required.
• Ensure adequate handover notes relating to all aspects of the operations and maintenance at the end of rotation shift.
• Troubleshoot problems, identify functional failures, determine required maintenance activities and initiate work order system in SAP.
• Perform RCA process to continue maintain and improve equipment reliability and availability.
• Assit in optimizing spares and materials consumption and invertory with cost-saving.
• Coordinate established work priorities.
• Supervise and mentor national and local staff to effectively transfer knowledge. Provide direction and mentoring to less experienced employees while carrying out assigned tasks.
• Lead and perform collecting various samples of equipment for laboratory analysis.
• Perform all duties in a manner that is safe, efficient and environmentally.
• Assist in and perform turnaround activities by ensuring shutting down the facility safely, preparing the process and equipment for maintenance/inspection activities, carrying out the tests mandated by the turnaround plan, preparing the process and equipment for restart and safely restart the facility after the turnaround completion.
