Job Description:
We are seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to plan, organize, and track maintenance activities for our facility. The role involves coordinating the maintenance team, scheduling preventive and corrective work, managing resources, and ensuring equipment and machinery operate efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
- Assign work to technicians and follow up on completion
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment history
- Monitor inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies
- Ensure maintenance operations comply with safety standards and regulations
- Liaise with other departments to minimize downtime and support operations
- Track maintenance performance metrics and report to management
- Assist in budgeting and planning for maintenance activities
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance processes
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in maintenance coordination or planning role
- Knowledge of maintenance practices, equipment, and preventive maintenance
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficient in computer software for maintenance tracking and reporting
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
