Job Overview
Sinnott Blacktop, LLC is currently seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team in multiple key roles: Maintenance Crew Lead, CDL Drivers and Maintenance Laborer. These positions are essential to the successful completion of our residential and commercial projects. We are looking for team players who priortitize safety, exhibit a strong work ethic, and are prepared to work in a dynamic construction environment.
Duties
Maintenance Crew Lead: The Foreman is the key person in charge of overseeing project
completion and must maintain a "big picture" perspective at all times. The Foreman coordinates, leads, and manages the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance Field Crew, including mentoring and training team members on safety, core job functions, and company policies. Responsibilities include timekeeping, project management, ensuring jobs are built to specifications, managing materials and expenses, and overseeing
equipment preparation. The Foreman also serves as the primary liaison between the Field Crew, the Superintendent, and the customer during site walk-throughs.
CDL Driver: The CDL Driver primarily operates trucks and other heavy equipment across residential and commercial projects. Drivers must ensure their equipment is properly maintained and operate in strict adherence to DOT regulations and all company safety policies.
Maintenance Laborer: The Maintenance Laborer performs essential physical tasks at residential driveways, parking lots, and roadways. Maintenance Laborers use vacuum trucks, wire brooms, and crack routers to prepare surfaces, and apply crack fill and seal coat materials. Laborers also assist with traffic control setup, equipment cleanup, and signaling equipment operators

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
All positions at Sinnott Blacktop require excellent stamina and the ability to perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. Employees must regularly lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.), stand or walk for extended periods, and use core muscle groups for sustained support without fatigue. Good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination are essential across all roles. The work environment involves frequent exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. Employees regularly work outdoors in a variety of extreme conditions, including inclement
weather, heat, humidity, dust, and asphalt. Noise levels at construction job sites can be loud. All employees are expected to adhere to company safety policies at all times.
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
