Maintenance Director

Falls Village Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation is a 108 bed facility with all private rooms located in Cuyahoga Falls, OH.

Daily Duties include but are not limited to:

• Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, and driveways.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed.
• Replace burned out lightbulbs, to include exit lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, room call lights, etc.
• Service heating and cooling units/systems, as specified by the manufacturer, and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information.
• Delegate to and direct the Maintenance Assistant
• Abide by state, federal and joint commission regulations of the Maintenance Department
• Must be available after hours and on call as required

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of building codes and practices
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing licenses a plus but not required
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment including very cold and very warm environments, and the ability to lift/work with heavy objects.
