Maintenance Director

Our Environmental Services team is responsible for first impressions, and we want to find the right person to trust with that responsibility. The Director of Environmental Services is responsible for managing the daily operations of the facility's maintenance department, including staff supervision, budgeting, and ensuring the building and equipment are in excellent working condition. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure timely repairs and preventive maintenance, while also ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care environment.
• Must be familiar with the operation of various types of laundry equipment, practices, and procedures
• Experienced in a wide variety of trade skills (carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical) and the tools associated with them
• Proficient computer and internet skills
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
