Odin Health and Rehab is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Director to oversee building operations and ensure a safe, well-maintained environment for our residents and staff. This role is ideal for someone with experience in facility maintenance, skilled nursing, or healthcare settings .

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of resident rooms, common areas, grounds, and building systems
• Perform repairs including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and logs
• Ensure compliance with life safety, fire safety, and IDPH requirements
• Respond quickly to urgent maintenance needs
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
• Maintain work orders and documentation
  
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2 years maintenance experience required
• Skilled nursing or healthcare maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Strong organization and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift, bend, climb, and perform physical maintenance duties
