Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical System Maintenance:
- Perform regular inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical equipment, including circuit breakers, motors, generators, lighting systems, and electrical panels.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Repairs and Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement corrective actions to ensure minimal downtime.
- Preventive Maintenance:
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to prevent failures.
- Record maintenance activities, including repairs, parts replaced, and troubleshooting results.
- Installations and Upgrades:
- Assist with the installation of new electrical systems and upgrades to existing systems.
- Work with other teams to install, repair, or upgrade electrical infrastructure as needed.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols in the performance of electrical duties.
- Follow lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures when working on electrical systems.
- Participate in safety training programs and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.
- Generate reports on system performance and any issues that arise.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other maintenance team members and departments to ensure facility systems are functioning optimally.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project timelines, issues, and resolutions.
